Currently Craving: Copper

I have been seeing copper accents in all the magazines. From Metropolitan to Architectural Digest to Country Living, gold and silver have been put away to allow copper to shine. This precious metal is rich and elegant and can definitely attract the eye. Copper tones are appearing in a wide range of hues and finishes such as muted tones with a warm, soft luster, to deep hues that command attention.

I love the patina of old copper like in the two vanities in the third photo. Whether it was on purpose or it truly is an antique, the finish is stunning. As much I don’t want to admit it, I think copper is replacing my love for gold.
