Review: Happy Soap Co.

Happy Soap Company

As part of my giveaway on Facebook for reaching 150 (and more!) followers, I’ve asked some of the local bloggers and artisans from Pepper Place to donate items for a basket that one lucky winner will receive.

HappySoapCo

One of the owners I had the pleasure of meeting was Jill with Happy Soap Company. Happy Soap Co. was started out of frustration of the way Jill’s hair and skin felt all the time. Jill, a chemistry grad, put her degree to work and started making soaps, shampoo bars, deodorants, They do not believe they need to use ingredients that lead to the destruction of rainforests and the extinction of the wonderful creatures who live there.

I was thrilled when Jill decided to be a part of my giveaway. I ran down to Pepper Place on Saturday and got to test out a few of her most popular products. Jill donated a lavender hand soap and lime hand spray sanitizer, which are both wonderful! I really wanted to grab one of everything on her table, but I settled for a multi-task cleaner in a delicious lemongrass scent.

This stuff is amazing. This spray is the ultimate multi-tasker! It is safe and effective on glass, mirrors, counter tops, stainless steel, sealed stone, chrome, appliances, laminates, butcher block, tile, porcelain, sinks, tubs, and painted wood. Then, when you have finished cleaning all of those things, you can also use Multi-Task Spray Cleaner as a linen and ironing spray. Freshen the scent of your home, spray pillows, sofas, pet beds, and more.

Try it and other wonderful products at happysoapcompany.com.

This is not a sponsored post. I paid for this cleaner on my own. However, Happy Soap Co. did donate items for my giveaway basket.

Purple Ballet Sleeve Tunic

IMG_3164

This weekend we had the perfect weather! It’s was overcast and a bit chilly, so I pulled out my leggings and my new tunic from Jane. (I’m wearing a small.) This purple tunic is everything. I have this shirt in three colors and it’s the most comfortable thing I have in my closet. I can’t describe just how soft it really is, but think of jersey knit, but not as stretchy. It has ballet sleeves which are tighter around your arms, which gives the shirt an overall flattering look. Paired with classic black leggings, this outfit is easily going to be on repeat throughout the season.

tunic (currently not on Jane, but can be bought at full price here) | leggings | fringe boots (old, but I like these) | necklace | earrings | watch

Aldo A+ for Target

aldoattarget

Target is stepping up their collaboration game with a fall line designed by Aldo. The A+ collection features 17 pieces like sleek-heeled boots and sparkly flats for women as well as reasonably-priced handbags that are perfect for fall. There’s also a few pieces for men like tailors dress shoes. My favorite are the four pieces above: this amazing tote which comes in three other colors, the perfect navy flat, a great boot for jeans, and a dressy black strappy heel. Don’t worry, it’s not going anywhere. The collection will update seasonally, so check back often for new styles. Shop the whole collection here.

Coral, Chambray and Cheetah

Every opportunity I get to wear these amazing cheetah mini-heels I do with great pleasure. Aren’t they just so freaking adorable?! I’m so glad I finally found a chambray shirt that fits me well. I literally probably wear it once a week. It’s so versatile and a perfect transition piece to fall. You’ll be seeing it and these calf-hair minis more often.

And don’t forget about the May Books giveaway going on right over here.

And don’t forget about tchambray shirt || cropped jeans || calf-hair mini heels || crossbody (old, but I love this one) || necklace (old, similar) || watch || bracelet (passed down, similar) || sunnies

Closing Out Summer

ConcertStyle

I’m closing out the summer with Lady Antebellum tonight at Oak Mountain, a bucket list item I’ve been dying to accomplish for years now. Sam Hunt and Hunter Hayes, whom I’ve both already seen, are an added plus! I’m dreaming up the perfect outfit and I can’t wait to wear this Bailey Boutique fringe dress. It’s been hanging in my closet just for this night! I’ll be posting my actual outfit later on this evening, so follow me on Instagram @itsnatalieeoh to see it. Here’s to cooler weather and no rain!!
